So, you've decided to grace the 'gateway to Africa' with your presence. Yippee!
You've got your passport, visa, luggage and cash, but you need to load up on some local lingo. The basics.
Good thing you're at this page, because the hospitable Ghanaian that I am, I have gone to great pains to put a list of some handy words and phrases that will help you fit in with the skills of a chameleon. Okay, I'm lying, Ghanaians will figure you out - because we know everything and are always right - but hey, at least you can surprise us by throwing down a few appropriate local phrases, especially, when you catch use chatting about you in our local languages. Yes, we will chat about you and when you surprise us by catching us out, we will put on a performance worthy of an Oscar and deny whatever you accuse us of.
Yes, we will lie ... with much gusto and theatrics!
